Using Xaman on NuttBuster

Xaman is a self-custody XRP Ledger wallet. On NuttBuster, it can be used to sign in, approve XRP payments, and receive XRP payouts when your creator account is configured for it.

What Xaman is

Xaman is a mobile wallet for the XRP Ledger. It holds your XRPL account keys on your device, so you control the wallet and approve each login or payment request yourself.

NuttBuster never asks for your recovery words or private keys. If any website, message, or support request asks for them, stop and treat it as unsafe.

How login works

1

Start Xaman sign-in

Choose the Xaman sign-in option on NuttBuster. Desktop users scan a QR code; mobile users can open the request in the Xaman app.

2

Review the request

Xaman shows a sign-in request. Confirm that it is for NuttBuster before approving it. This proves you control the wallet without sharing your keys.

3

Return to your account

After approval, NuttBuster signs you in or asks you to choose a username if that wallet is not linked to an account yet.

Link your wallet

  • Create or sign into your NuttBuster account first.
  • Open Settings, then choose Payouts.
  • Use Link Xaman Wallet and approve the request in Xaman.
  • Once linked, you can use that wallet to sign in without your password.

Add funds

  • Install Xaman from the official app store links on xaman.app.
  • Create or import an XRP Ledger account and keep your recovery information private.
  • Use Xaman's in-app funding options or send XRP from an exchange to your classic r-address.
  • Leave enough XRP for the XRPL account reserve and small network fees.

Creators and payouts

Linking Xaman for login is separate from setting a payout address. To receive XRP payouts, copy your Xaman classic r-address into the XRP Classic Payout Address field in Settings. Buyers paying through Xaman can then route supported XRP payments to that address.

For Lightning payouts, use a Lightning address instead. You can configure either rail or both, depending on how you want to receive creator earnings.

How to buy XRP

The easiest way is directly inside Xaman using built-in xApps (MoonPay, Topper, Banxa, and others).

1

Open xApps in Xaman

Tap the xApps tab and look for Buy/Sell XRP. Select a provider available in your country (MoonPay, Topper, Banxa, etc.).

2

Enter amount and payment method

Choose how much you want to spend and pick your payment method — debit/credit card, bank transfer, or Apple Pay depending on the provider.

3

Complete identity verification

First-time purchases require KYC (government ID and selfie). This is standard and handled securely by the provider.

4

Confirm and receive

Review the fees and exchange rate, then confirm. XRP usually arrives in your wallet within minutes.

Alternative: Buy XRP on a centralized exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, Uphold, Bitstamp, Crypto.com) and send it to your Xaman r-address. No Destination Tag needed when sending to a personal wallet.

How to sell XRP for cash

Option 1 — Sell in Xaman

  • Go to the xApps tab and tap Buy/Sell XRP.
  • Select Sell and choose your amount.
  • Pick fiat currency and payout method (bank account or card).
  • Complete verification if required, review fees, and confirm.
  • Funds arrive in your bank within minutes to a few business days.

Option 2 — Send to exchange

  • Get your exchange's XRP deposit address and Destination Tag — the tag is required or funds may be lost.
  • In Xaman, tap Send, paste the address and tag, and confirm.
  • Once received on the exchange, sell XRP for your local currency.
  • Withdraw fiat to your linked bank account (typically 1–5 business days).

Tips and important notes

  • Always test small first. Send a tiny amount to any new address before moving larger sums.
  • Keep some XRP in reserve. XRPL accounts require a minimum reserve (currently 1 XRP) that stays locked, plus a little extra for network fees.
  • Destination Tags matter when sending to exchanges. Missing the tag can result in lost funds. You do not need one when sending to your own Xaman wallet.
  • XRPL transactions are irreversible. Double-check addresses before confirming.
  • Security. Only use the official Xaman app. No legitimate support ever asks for your seed phrase.
  • Taxes. Selling or trading crypto may be a taxable event in your country. Keep records and consult a tax professional.
