Cash Out to Your Bank
Your Nutt earnings arrive as XRP in your Xaman wallet. Here are the ways to turn them into dollars in your bank account.
Which route should I pick?
For most people the Buy/Sell XRP xApp inside Xaman is the fewest steps. If you already have a Coinbase or Kraken account, or you are cashing out a larger amount, a US exchange gives you more control. Whichever you choose, send a small test amount first.

Fees, rates and payout times below are typical figures and change often. Every partner shows the live quote before you confirm, so trust that over this page.
Route 1: Sell inside Xaman (recommended)
- Open the Xaman app and go to xApps.
- Open the Buy/Sell XRP xApp (or search for it) and select United States / USD.
- Pick a partner: MoonPay, Topper (by Uphold), Banxa or Exolix. The xApp shows which are available so you can compare rates and fees.
- Create an account with the partner and complete their one-time identity check (ID and selfie).
- Enter how much XRP to sell and choose your payout method.
- Send the XRP to the deposit address the partner gives you, copying any destination tag exactly.
- The partner converts it and sends USD to the method you chose.
Payout options (US):
- Bank account (ACH): often 3–5 business days.
- Debit or credit card: usually faster, from about 30 minutes to 48 hours.
- Instant bank: Topper can pay out over FedNow or RTP if your bank supports it (look for the ⚡ symbol). Caps and a fee of roughly 1.75% apply.
- PayPal or Venmo may be offered by some partners.
Route 2: Through a US exchange
- Create and verify an account on an exchange that supports XRP → USD and bank withdrawals, such as Coinbase or Kraken.
- Generate an XRP deposit address and destination tag on the exchange.
- Send XRP from Xaman to that address, entering the tag exactly. XRP Ledger transfers settle in seconds.
- Sell the XRP for USD. A market order fills immediately once the deposit lands.
- Withdraw USD to your linked bank by ACH (usually free or very cheap, 1–3 business days), or to a debit card for a fee and a faster arrival.
Good for larger amounts or if you already hold an account. It has more steps than Route 1, but exchange trading fees are typically lower than a pure off-ramp.
Route 3: XRPay xApp
Search for XRPay in Xaman's xApps. You authorize a transfer from your wallet straight to a regulated processor (Bridge.xyz) for bank payout. You still complete KYC and link a bank account. The crypto leg is fast; the bank leg depends on ACH or a faster rail.
Before you send anything
- Destination tags matter. Copy them exactly. A missing or wrong tag can mean lost or delayed funds.
- KYC is required for any fiat off-ramp.
- Selling crypto is a taxable event in the US. Keep records of what you sold and when.
- Fees vary. Pure off-ramps often charge 1–4.5%. Check the live quote.
- Your XRP account keeps a base reserve, so you cannot send the whole balance.
- Only use official Xaman xApps or well-known regulated partners, and double-check addresses.
